Japan buying 4 SM-3 Block IIAs for $133 million
The U.S. government has cleared the sale of four SM-3 Block IIA missiles to Japan for an estimated cost of $133.3 million.
Secretive Zuma payload said to have failed to reach orbit
SpaceX successfully launch the Zuma payload on its Falcon 9 rocket on Jan. 8 but now there are rumors that the payload failed to reach orbit and fell back to Earth together with the upper stage of the Falcon.

SpaceX will attempt to launch Zuma payload on Jan. 5
SpaceX will be making an bid to send the top-secret Zuma payload into low Earth orbit on Jan. 5. The previous attempt to do that last November was canceled by the space launch company.

Russia said to have tested RS-28 Sarmat ICBM for the first time
Russian news outlet Mk.ru reported that the RS-28 Sarmat liquid-fueled, MIRV-equipped, intercontinental ballistic missile has been tested for the first time.
