North Korea launched 4 ballistic missiles; 3 flew 1,000km into East Sea
Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said North Korea has launched four ballistic missiles today and three of those missiles flew approximately 1,000 km into the East Sea, within Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
India tested its AAD on Mar. 1
India test-fired its Advanced Area Defence (AAD) interceptor against a target on Mar. 1 and all the mission objectives were successfully met.

Pukguksong-2 was launched at an angle of 89 degrees; range could be 2,000km
South Korea’s intelligence service told lawmakers this morning that the North’s Pukguksong-2 solid fuel ballistic missile was fired at an angle of 89 degrees. If it had been traveling on a normal trajectory of 45 degrees, the canister launched missile could have a range of 2,000km.

In response to Pyongyang’s latest missile test on Feb. 12, South Korea is considering whether to test-fire its indigenous cruise missile or unveil a new ballistic missile that’s under development.
