USAF might have first chief of staff who is not a pilot

Colin Clark from Breaking Defense said he spoke to more than two dozen officers and civilians on how will be the next chief of staff for the U.S. Air Force and Gen. John Hyten, head of Space Command, is said to be the front runner to take over from Gen. Mark Welsh.

Australia studying option of having its own military satellites

Australia is studying the option of sending its own military satellites into space. The move comes as Australia plans to boost its satellite imagery capability in the next 20 years as outlined in the 2016 Defence White Paper.
