The U.S. Congress was told by Gen. John Hyten, commander of the Air Force Space Command, that the threat to U.S. military and intelligence satellites have reached a tipping point.

The British Ministry of Defence has release this video about RAF Fylingdales, one of the three radar sites in the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS), the other two sites being in Alaska and Greenland.
In less than two years time, the United States will be sending astronauts into space from Cape Canaveral and the 45th Space Wing and 920th Rescue Wing have started their preparations to deal with any emergency aborts.

Airbus Defence and Space has been awarded a €145 million contract by the procurement agency of German Armed Forces (BAAINBw) for the long term operation of the SATCOMBw secure satellite communications system. The contract is for the next seven-and-a-half years.
