North Korea notified UN of its intention to launch satellite this month

Two United Nations agencies, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), have both been informed by North Korea of its intention to launch a Kwangmyongsong-class earth observation satellite into space between Feb. 8-25.

Latest GMD test verified design of new Capability Enhancement-II EKV

India’s planned satellite tracking station in Vietnam has military applications

India plans to set up a satellite tracking and data reception centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and analysts are saying that the facility will allow India to monitor Chinese military activities that are far from its border with China.

Minuteman accident was not reported to Pentagon review team

Back in 2014, former U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel commissioned a review of the entire U.S. nuclear force by a group of nuclear weapons experts. The review started in March and it was during that period when an accident at F.E. Warren Air Force Base resulted in $1.8 million in damage to a Minuteman missile. Air Force Global Strike Command now said the review team was not told of the accident.
