Soviet spy satellite re-enter Earth’s atmosphere

A spy satellite, Kosmos-1441, launched into space by the Soviet Union has re-entered Earth’s atmosphere on Nov. 8 and plunged into the Pacific Ocean.

X-37B lands back at Vandenberg AFB

The X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle mission 3 (OTV-3) landed at Vandenberg Air Force Base at 9:24 a.m. Oct. 17 after spending 674 days in space.
