PMA-268 has carried out a simulation to operate the MQ-25 at NAS Patuxent River on Apr. 11. NAVAIR said the demonstration validated the first build of the MD-5 Unmanned Carrier Aviation Mission Control System (UMCS).

The U.S. Army has issued a new Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System Techniques handbook this month. The techniques covered are applicable from the brigade to company levels.

Baykar Makina tweeted on Apr. 18 that the company’s latest variant of its Mini unmanned aerial vehicle – the V.3 – has entered the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Seapower magazine spoke to the team at General Atomics (GA) which is competing for the U.S. Navy’s MQ-25A unmanned aerial tanker program and they are confident that the company’s Sea Avenger solution will meet the navy’s needs.
