MQ-8B with AN/ZPY-4(V)1 deployed

The MQ-8B deployed on board USS Coronado (LCS-4) is the first to be equipped with the new AN/ZPY-4(V)1 radar. Previously, the unmanned helicopter was fitted with the RDR-1700 maritime surveillance radar under an urgent requirement.

MQ-9s to join Japan, S. Korea, U.S. missile defense exercise

The first trilateral ballistic missile defense exercise by Japan, South Korea and United States will see two MQ-9s joining the hunt for ballistic missiles.
