MQ-9 carried out ripple attacks against maritime targets for the 1st time

Students of the MQ-9 platform from the 26th Weapons Squadron, U.S. Air Force Weapons School had the opportunity to carry out ripple attacks against maritime targets during Combat Hammer at Eglin Air Force Base.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has published its annual report on the U.S. Navy’s Unmanned Carrier-Launched Airborne Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS) program as authorized by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014.

Russia to deploy shore-based anti-ship missiles and UAVs to disputed Kuril islands

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has said Moscow will be deploying the Bal and Bastion shore-based anti-ship missile systems plus Eleron 3 unmanned aerial vehicles to the disputed Kuril Islands.
