After U.S. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus announced in April that he was creating a post that reports to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations on the service’s efforts in unmanned systems, the Pentagon has announced the first officer to head the N99 office.

Apache teams up with MQ-1C to fire AGM-114

Russia has started using UAVs to monitor its Arctic region
The Russian Defense Ministry’s Northern Fleet press service says its Arctic coastal forces has started to operate Takhion and Eleron-3 drones over its Arctic region for monitoring purposes.
