ACC: Manning levels for USAF UAV fleet at breaking point
Head of Air Combat Command, Gen. Herbert Carlisle, has written a memo to the U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh, warning him that the manning levels of the service’s unmanned aircraft fleet is at a critical point.

Chengdu Wing Loong UAV demonstrates formation flight
The Chengdu Wing Loong Medium-Altitude Long-Endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) recently flew a formation flight demonstration for CCTV.
In another video, the chief engineer for Wing Loong, Huang Yun, told CCTV that the UAV has been upgraded with larger wings to help maintain stability during turbulence. The aircraft is now fitted with a satellite communications system as well.
