Japan to develop missile-detecting UAV

Japan wants to develop its own drone that can detect and track ballistic missiles over the next four years. The aircraft will fly at 13,500 meters and is expected to be operational in 2020.

Switchblade UAV to make combat debut in Afghanistan soon

The U.S. Army has shipped the Switchblade UAV to a unit in Regional Command East, Afghanistan. The soldiers there are still waiting for the green light to deploy the kamikaze drone though.

Hezbollah UAV reportedly made in Germany

Lebanese newspaper Al-Jumhuriyah named Germany’s Siemens and Bockstiegel as the companies who supplied parts for the Hezbollah UAV that entered Israeli airspace.
