The U.S. Marine Corps flew its final RQ-7B flight on Jul. 29. The unmanned aircraft was used to support amphibious landing demonstration as part of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise.
The Yomiuri Shimbun reports that Tokyo intends to set up a team comprising of members from its three military services to operate the RQ-4.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) announced on Jul. 23 that it has concluded performance testing of the arresting hook Hold Down Damper (HDD) for its proposed MQ-25 unmanned aerial refueling aircraft for the U.S. Navy.
