33rd Fighter Wing’s F-35As fire AIM-9X for first time

F-35As assigned to the 33rd Fighter Wing have fired AIM-9X missiles for the first time from Sept. 17-19 for Exercise Combat Archer.

Flight Global quoted Kratos Unmanned Systems Division’s president as saying that the company’s XQ-58A can carry at least two air-to-air missiles in its weapons bay.
