U.S. Navy cuts Carrier Strike Group to nine

The recent deactivation of Carrier Strike Group 7 means the U.S. Navy is left with only nine aircraft carrier groups. Experts argued that it will be difficult for the navy to convince lawmakers to increase it back to ten in future.
