Stand up of fifth F-35A squadron at Luke AFB delayed by 18 months

The setup of a fifth F-35A squadron at Luke Air Force Base has been pushed back by 18 months as the jets are being diverted to Eglin Air Force Base instead.

High resolution photo of the GAU-5A

U.S. Air Force fighter and bomber pilots who have to eject during combat will now have access to a new semi-automatic carbine that comes as part of the ACES II survival kit.
