LAIRCM pod for KC-135 cleared for production

Northrop Grumman announced on Apr. 17 that its Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) pod for the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft has achieved Milestone C.

A Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures system module is attached to the underside of a 507th Air Refueling Wing KC-135R Stratotanker, from Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., while sitting on the flight line at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Nov. 28, 2017. INS Vikramaditya to hold joint exercise with French carrier Charles de Gaulle
