South Korea bolsters defense with acquisition of 20 F-35As

In a strategic move to reinforce its response capabilities against potential military threats from North Korea, South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) announced the signing of a contract with the U.S. government for the purchase of 20 additional F-35A stealth fighter jets. The agreement, finalized on Dec. 8, comes after Washington’s approval of the sale in September.

South Korea donates first batch of 500MD helicopters for U.N. Peacekeeping in Kenya
