ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 16, 2019) From left to right, France’s Marine Nationale air defense destroyer FS Cassard (D 614), the guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111), the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), the Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155) and the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) sail in formation in the in the Arabian Gulf, Jan. 16, 2019, during exercise Intrepid Sentinel. Intrepid Sentinel brings together the John C. Stennis Strike Group, France’s Marine Nationale, United Kingdom’s Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy for a multinational exercise designed to enhance war fighting readiness and interoperability between allies and partners. Royal Moroccan Air Force F1 crashes
A Royal Moroccan Air Force F1 fighter has crashed in the Taunat region on Jan. 21. The pilot was on a training flight and survived by ejecting.
