Kamov to create high-speed helicopter using Ka-52

CEO of Zhukovsky Central Aero-Hydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) Kirill Sypalo told TASS that Kamov’s chief designer Sergei Mikheyev will soon start work on building a high-speed helicopter that is based on the Ka-52.

Swedish Viggen pilots awarded U.S. Air Medals for saving SR-71 in 1987

Four former Swedish Air Force Viggen pilots were awarded the U.S. Air Medals on Nov. 28 for their role in protecting a SR-71 that had an inflight engine failure on Jun. 29, 1987.

Russia has completed the delivery of 24 Su-35s to China

Interfax has reported that Russia has delivered all 24 Su-35 fighters ordered by China. The contract was signed in 2015.
