A U.S. State Department spokesperson confirmed to CNBC that Saudi Arabia has signed a letter of offer and acceptance with the United States for Lockheed Martin’s THAAD air defense missile system.

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress on Nov. 27 of a potential Foreign Military Sale to Qatar of defense articles and services in support of a Direct Commercial Sale of the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS).
Boeing has given Lockheed Martin two contracts: first is a 28-month Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) contract for the Legion Pod and a Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) for 19 Legion Pods.
