Japan cleared to buy 32 AIM-120C-7s

The U.S. government has approved a potential Foreign Military Sale of 32 AIM-120C-7 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) to Japan for an estimated cost of $63 million.

Watch 388th and 419th FW launch 35 F-35As

The U.S. Air Force’s 388th Fighter Wing and Air Force Reserve 419th Fighter Wing conducted a combat power exercise Nov. 19 whereby 35 F-35As were launched.

RAAF testing external fuel tanks on C-130J

The Royal Australian Air Force is testing out the feasibility of fitting external fuel tanks to its C-130J transports and the first aircraft, A97-440, was recently handed over to No. 37 Squadron with those external tanks hanging beneath its wings.
