USAF orders 360 JASSM-ERs

The U.S. Air Force has placed a $390 million contract to buy 360 360 JASSM-ER cruise missiles from Lockheed Martin.

RAND: Japan will be wasting valuable resources to operate fixed-wing aircraft carriers

Political scientist Jeffrey W. Hornung from RAND said in a commentary on DefenseOne that Japan will be wasting valuable resources in terms of manpower and money to convert the Izumo-class helicopter destroyers into fixed-wing aircraft carriers.
