For the first time in history, a U.S. Expeditionary Strike Group will go on patrol with the F-35B tagging along.
American nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson arrived in Danang, Vietnam today for a historic visit. The first time a flattop has made a port call in the South East Asian country since the end of the Vietnam War.
Japan has decided that it will seek foreign help in creating a successor for its F-2 fighter fleet and a request for information (RFI) will be sent out to U.S. aerospace companies this week.
