Il-78M-90A tanker trials to finish by end of year or early 2019

Ilyushin Bureau’s Chief Designer Nikolai Talikov said in an interview with TASS that his firm will complete testing of the new modernized Il-78M-90A aerial refueling tanker by end of this year or early next year.

Airbus ordered to pay $126 million to Taiwan

Airbus acknowledged on Jan. 13 that its subsidiary Matra Défense S.A.S. has been ordered to pay an arbitral award of $126 million to Taiwan for breach of contract in the supply of missiles to the island.

Belgium’s NH90 NFHs have defective radars

Belgium’s Air Force has disclosed that three of the four NH90 NFH naval helicopters have defective radars that need to be fixed.

T-50THs grounded after hitting turbulent weather; landed at RMAF Kuantan

A report by Thai PBS says the two T-50THs being delivered to Thailand this week have been grounded for checks after they went into turbulent weather during the ferry flight across South China Sea.

Russian fighters to practice operating from highway

Russia’s Southern Military District has started its first training exercise for 2018 at the Kuban and Rostov regional airports and a spokesperson said fighters will land on a stretch of the Rostov Region highway next week.
