TaktLwG 31 now capable of air-to-ground attacks

The Luftwaffe announced on Dec. 18 that the Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 31 “Boelcke” (Tactical Air Force Wing 31) is now able to carry out air-to-ground strikes with its Eurofighters.

F-35 Weapons Delivery Accuracy testing completed

The F-35 Weapons Delivery Accuracy (WDA) flight tests at Edwards Air Force Base are over, completing a major milestone to get the jet’s Block 3F software ready for combat.

Boeing reveals its MQ-25 offering

Elbit gets follow-on contract to provide J-Music DIRCM for NATO’s MRTT fleet

Elbit announced on Dec. 19 that it has been awarded a follow-on $46 million contract to supply additional J-Musicâ„¢ DIRCM (Direct Infrared Countermeasures) self-protection systems for NATO’s A330 Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (“MMF”) Program.

Irish Air Corps getting three PC-12s

The Irish Air Corps will buy three PC-12s to replace its existing five Cessna aircraft. The contract was signed by Minister of State at the Department of Defence, Paul Kehoe, on Dec. 19.
