Proposal to convert JS Izumo into fixed-wing carrier circulating within Defense Ministry
The Mainichi reported on Jan. 6 that a proposal to convert the JS Izumo helicopter destroyer into a carrier capable of operating fixed-wing fighters is being circulated within the Defense Ministry.

Russia’s air base in Syria attacked by drones, S-400 air defense system hit
