Italy retires its Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic

The Italian Air Force has retired its Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic aircraft after 45 years of service. The maritime patrol aircraft is replaced by the P-72A.

USMC infantry units receiving quadcopters

The U.S. Marine Corps has started equipping infantry units with small quadcopters, according to a NAVAIR press release.

RNoAF completes investigation into F-16 strafing incident

Giraffe 1X sold to unnamed customer

Saab says its Giraffe 1X AESA radar system has been sold to an anonymous customer. The contract value was not disclosed as well.

Lockheed Martin’s 30-kilowatt class ATHENA (Advanced Test High Energy Asset) laser weapon system successfully took out five Outlaw unmanned aerial vehicles during a joint test with the U.S. Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command in August.
