World’s last operational T-33s retired in Bolivia

Jul. 31 saw the world’s last operational T-33s jet trainers being retired by the Bolivian Air Force. Bolivian president Evo Morales was the guest of honor for the retirement ceremony at Grupo Aéreo de Caza 31.

Pakistan sending 19 aircraft to China for exercise

The bilateral air exercise between the air forces of China and Pakistan will send the latter dispatching 19 aircraft to China, Pakistan’s Defense Attaché to China disclosed.

France nationalizes sole shipyard capable of building aircraft carriers

The French government has the country’s largest shipyard at Saint-Nazaire on the Atlantic coast to prevent Italian company Fincantieri from obtaining a majority stake.
