Portugal cabinet gives green light for KC-390 negotiations

Portugal’s Council of Ministers has authorized the negotiations with Embraer for five KC-390 transport aircraft under resolution 109/2017.

USAF using Tesla Model S as U-2 chase cars

The U.S. Air Force had previously used the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 as chase cars for the U-2 spy plane. The flying branch has now switched to the Tesla Model S for the task.

2-10 CAB deploys Black Hawks to Romania

Aviators with the 2-10 Assault Helicopter Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade flew UH-60 Blackhawks from Plovdiv, Bulgaria, into Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania on Jul. 24-25.

Last C-130 to leave Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station

The last C-130 assigned to Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station has left the base on Jul. 26. The 914th Airlift Wing is transitioning to an Air Refueling Wing.
