Luke graduates first F-35A initial qualification course

The first F-35A initial qualification course pilots graduated on Aug. 5 at Luke Air Force Base. Taught by the 61st Fighter Squadron, each student flew at least 48 sorties totaling 77 hours over a period of eight months.

USAF bringing out one F-22 from storage

Lockheed Martin F-22, # 91-4006, is being brought out from storage at Edwards Air Force Base to be return to service.

USN F/A-18E emergency landing mishap at Bahrain International Airport

A U.S. Navy F/A-18E made an emergency landing at Bahrain International Airport Aug. 12 but the pilot was forced to eject after the plane departed the runway.
