Lost de Havilland Mosquito blueprints discovered

More than 20,000 engineering drawings and diagrams for the de Havilland Mosquito have been found, just days before bulldozers were due to destroy their hiding place.

Taiwan conducts live-firing test of its Oerlikon 35 mm anti-aircraft gun

U.S. Army bans Chinese commercial drones, cites cyber vulnerabilities

The U.S. Army has published a memo on Aug. 2 that bans its soldiers from using commercial drones made by Chinese firm DJI.

F-35As from 62nd FS flew missing man formation for one of their P-47 pilot

Two days before Christmas, 1944, 2nd Lt. Charles E. Carlson was shot down and killed in his P-47 over Europe. His remains were recovered last year and during his funeral service on Aug. 4 at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, his unit – the 62nd Fighter Squadron – flew a missing man formation fly-over with four F-35As.
