U.S. to intercept IRBM target using THAAD

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) confirmed to Reuters that it will be carrying out a test in the coming days to intercept an intermediate-range ballistic missile target using the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system.
