UH-1 veterans to be awarded Silver Stars for saving C-130 crew 45 years ago

At 8:00 AM CT today, U.S. Congressman French Hill will award Silver Stars to a UH-1 crew who saved seven people on board a C-130 that crashed during the Vietnam war.

Vietnam keen on getting Ansat, Mi-17V-5, Mi-38

A delegation from the Vietnamese Defense Ministry is visiting the Kazan Helicopter plant and the discussions centered around the export of Mi-17V-5, Mi-38 and Ansat helicopters to Vietnam.

Spanish P-3 incursion into Gibraltar airspace

This P-3 from the Spanish Air Force was photographed flying in Gibraltar’s airspace on Apr. 17. The local authorities say this type of intrusion by the Spanish military occurs frequently but rarely caught on camera.

Nigeria has taken delivery of two Mi-35Ms

Chief of Air Staff of the Nigerian Airforce (NAF), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, told the media on Apr. 14 that two Mi-35M attack helicopters have been delivered and will be inducted into operations soon.

First woman team member for Patrulla Águila
