USAF has installed APG-83 on its own F-16

The U.S. Air Force has installed the Northrop Grumman APG-83 AESA radar on its own F-16, a press release from Edwards Air Force Base reveals.

(Aug. 21, 2015) Lockheed Martin technicians install hardware for mounting Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR) on an F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to 416th Flight Test Squadron. Duifficulties were encountered during installation of mounting hardware, prompting technicians to make alterations to factory-supplied parts.

Indian will soon being negotiations to buy C-295s
