ANG thinking of retiring F-15C/Ds; replace homeland defense with F-16s

Lawmakers at a House Armed Services readiness subcommittee hearing on Mar. 22 were told by Lt. Gen. Scott Rice, director of the Air National Guard, about plans to retire its 236 F-15C/Ds to save costs.

Florida’s lawmakers reviving idea to bring CVNs to Mayport

All of Florida’s Senators and congressional delegates have signed a joint letter urging the Pentagon not to forget about turning Naval Station Mayport into a second East Coast homeport for an aircraft carrier.

French Rafales and RMAF A400M in joint flypast during Hollande’s visit to Malaysia

Two French Air Force Rafales currently in Malaysia for LIMA 17 will join a Royal Malaysian Air Force A400M in a flypast during the arrival of French President Francois Hollande in Malaysia on Mar. 27.
