Indian C-130J damaged after landing; Squadron CO relieved

The commanding officer of the Indian Air Force’s 77 Squadron was relieved of his duties after he damaged a C-130J at a high-altitude airstrip during a night sortie on Dec. 13, 2016.

Boeing bringing KC-46 suppliers to court

Boeing is suing Able Aerospace Adhesives and AlfaKleen Chemical Labs for supplying a mislabeled chemical that caused the maiden flight of the KC-46 tanker to be delayed by a month.

RAF Air Seeker flew to Offutt AFB to have its landing gear fixed

A Royal Air Force RC-135 Airseeker had trouble with its landing gear during Exercise Red Flag. The aircraft was then flown to Offutt Air Force Base on Feb. 11 for the 55th Maintenance Group to troubleshoot the problem.

China has ordered more anti-ship missiles from Russia

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said during the opening of a national youth forum at the MIGIMO University that China has agreed to buy anti-ship missile systems from Russia as well.
