The Indian Navy will decommission the world’s oldest active aircraft carrier, INS Viraat, on Mar. 6. It was previously HMS Hermes under the British flag and participated in the Falklands war.
U.S. Navy is once again interested in upgrading the F414
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is asking General Electric to conduct a study for an “F414-GE-400 core enhancement evaluation,” Flight Global reports.

UEC offers AL-41F turbofan to India for Su-30MKI upgrade

Brazil to retire its sole aircraft carrier
The Brazilian Navy has determined that its too expensive to operate Clemenceau-class aircraft carrier São Paulo and has decided to retire the ship.
