DRDO chairman confirms that Akash is being offered to Vietnam

Chairman of India’s state-run Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) told reporters that the Akash air defense missile system is indeed being offered to Vietnam.

RAF to send A400M to New Zealand to mark RNZAF’s 80th Anniversary

The Royal Air Force has confirmed that one of its A400M transport aircraft will be dispatched to New Zealand this month for the Royal New Zealand Air Force’s Air Tatoo.

INS Viraat to be decommissioned on Mar. 6

The Indian Navy will decommission the world’s oldest active aircraft carrier, INS Viraat, on Mar. 6. It was previously HMS Hermes under the British flag and participated in the Falklands war.

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is asking General Electric to conduct a study for an “F414-GE-400 core enhancement evaluation,” Flight Global reports.
