The Pentagon launched two B-2 stealth bombers from the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base on Jan. 18 to hit two ISIL camps near Sirte, Libya.
Speaking at the American Enterprise Institute on Jan. 18, U.S. Air Force chief of staff Gen. David Goldfein told the audience that his service might run an experiment this spring to find a low-cost light attack aircraft.
