The U.S. government has cleared Finland to buy 90 Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS-JTRS) for the latter’s F/A-18 Mid-Life Upgrade Program. Total estimated program cost is $156 million.

India has agreed to help Vietnam train its Su-30 pilots, both sides reach the agreement during a meeting between Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar and Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich of Vietnam in New Delhi.
