A Nigerian Air Force AW101 was badly damaged in an accident recently. Two AW101s were transferred from the Presidential fleet to the Air Force. The mishap aircraft is said to be the only serviceable helicopter at the time of the incident as the other AW101 was undergoing maintenance.
The Israeli Air Force intends to launch a program to find a replacement for its Sikorsky CH-53 Yasur and both Lockheed Martin and Boeing are expected to vie for the contract.
