USAF engineers open Iraqi airfield damaged by ISIL
Engineers from the U.S. Air Force’s 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group have successfully repaired Qayyarah West Airfield in Iraq. The runway there was extensively damaged by ISIL to prevent coalition forces from using it.
