VFA-147 will be the first operational F-35C squadron

The U.S. Navy has identified VFA-147 as the first squadron to transition to the F-35C in 2018. The announcement was made on Sept. 10 at the annual Tailhook Association convention in Reno, Nevada.

Corker: Sale of fighters to Gulf States to proceed

Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Bob Corker, said the sale of F-15Es to Qatar and F/A-18s to Kuwait are expected to proceed now that a military aid package for Israel is approved.

These guys are bringing a C-47 across the hump to China and they need your help

The Flying Tiger Historical Organization is trying to bring a C-47 from Australia for display at the Flying Tigers Guilin Heritage Park & Museum in China. The aircraft’s left engine failed after departure from Bali, Indonesia and they are now stuck in Surabaya. They need to raise funds to have a replacement engine shipped to Indonesia.
