The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) 2nd Fighter Division, 4th Air Regiment at Foshan is now equipped with the J-10B fighter. Correction, its still the 2nd Fighter Division, 5th Air Regiment from Guilin.

Russia has withdrawn warplanes from Iran
Russia confirmed that its warplanes deployed to Hamadan Airbase in Iran have been withdrawn and are now back in Russia. The news was confirmed by Iran’s Foreign Ministry as well.
RoKAF scrambled 4 F-15Ks after Chinese warplanes entered KADIZ
The Republic of Korea Air Force scrambled four F-15Ks after three Chinese military aircraft, including a bomber, briefly flew into the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ) over Ieodo.

Japan deploying Type 3 Chū-SAM Kai in Okinawa Prefecture
Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s air defense units in Miyakojima island and Ishigakijima island in Okinawa Prefecture will be the first in the country to receive the new Type 3 Chū-SAM Kai air defense missile system.

A-100 flying test bed designated as A-100LL
A interim flying test bed for the A-100 AEW&C platform will make its first flight next year and is being dubbed A-100LL. The actual A-100 will not fly until 2018.
