New details on the investigations into Lt. Cmdr. Edward Lin have been obtained by Navy Times and court filings say Taiwan wanted test results of submarine-launched torpedo from the EP-3 naval flight officer.

U.S. military communications satellite stranded in wrong orbit

A maneuver to place a spare satellite for the U.S. Navy’s Mobile User Objective System into a circular orbit went wrong on Jun. 29 and it left the MUOS-5 satellite in an “intermediate” orbit.
