Kuwait might arm its H225Ms with anti-ship missiles

A French defense official said Kuwait has a requirement to arm its H225M helicopter with anti-ship missiles and France stands ready to support Kuwait’s need.

F-22 had an emergency after landing at Hill AFB

A F-22 assigned to Tyndall Air Force Base had an emergency upon landing at Hill Air Force Base at 1:15 p.m local time on Aug. 6.

VAW-112 returns to NBVC for last time

VAW-112 and four of its E-2Cs returned home to Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, on Aug. 9 after a seven-month deployment aboard USS John C. Stennis. This is the last cruise for the unit as it will disband in 2017.

F/A-18 carried out testing of PALS while CVN-78 was moored pier side

Testing of the Precision Aircraft Launch System (PALS) installed aboard aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) went smoothly on Aug. 10 even though the ship is moored at pier side.

F-22 grounded by honey bees

192nd Fighter Wing Aircraft Maintainers found a swarm of honey bees hanging from the exhaust nozzle of an F-22 Raptor engine on June 11, 2016 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. A local honey bee keeper was called to remove and relocate the bees to a safe place for them to build their hive. (U.S. Air Force courtesy photo)
