Russia bombed secret U.S. garrison in Syria deliberately

On Jun. 15, 20 British special forces withdrew from a secret U.S. garrison situated in southeastern Syria. Within a day, Russia warplanes pounded the facility twice despite attempts by the U.S. military to stop the air strikes. The Wall Street Journal says Moscow bombed the place to force Washington to negotiate on coordinating air strikes in Syria.

North Korea constructing underground facility for its ballistic missile submarines

Two new 150 meters fortified submarine pens are under construction at Mayang-do naval base in North Korea, the Telegraph quoted Jane’s as saying.

First F-35A at Eglin AFB to be loaded with internal, external weapons

An F-35A from the 58th Fighter Squadron is loaded with weapons in its internal weapons bays and on external pylons at Eglin Air Force Base on Jul. 20. This is the first time this weapons loading procedure involving internal and external weapons was carried out at the base.

North Korea moving Nodong IRBMs southwards

South Korea says its northern neighbor has moved its Nodong intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) closer to the south in an attempt to thwart the THAAD air defense system.

B-21, private space companies are helping to revive California’s aerospace sector
