India fired land-based Barak 8 twice on Jun. 30

The land-based version of the Barak 8 anti-air missile was fired twice at India’s Integrated Test Range on Jun. 30 by a team from India’s DRDO and Israel’s IAI.

RNZN SH-2G(I) to test-fire Penguin Mk 2 Mod 7 at RIMPAC

A SH-2G(I) naval helicopter on board Royal New Zealand Navy frigate Te Kaha will have a chance to fire its Penguin Mk 2 Mod 7 anti-ship missile at this year’s Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise scheduled Jun. 30 to Aug. 4.

Ukrainian company tabbed to supply R-27 missiles to Polish Air Force

A tender from the Polish Air Force for 40 R-27 air-to-air missiles has been won by a consortium comprising of Polish firm WB Electronics and Ukrainian state-owned company Spets Techno Export.

HSM-51 and VX-51 practice formation flying

A MH-60R from HSM-51 and a SH-60K from VX-51 perform a formation flight over Kanagawa prefecture on Jun. 27 in order to foster greater interoperability between the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and U.S. Navy.

Tachikawa Ki-54 recognize as Important Aviation Heritage
