KAI has selected the Scorpion helmet-mounted sight and display (HMSD) from Thales for the Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD) phase of the South Korean Light Armed Helicopter (LAH) program.

An annual report from Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise revealed that the manufacturer of the RD-33MK jet engine received an order for 92 of those engines in November 2015. It is speculated that the engines are meant for Egypt’s order of 46 MiG-35s.

VFA-136 and ten of its F/A-18Es departed NAS Oceana for the last time on Jul. 13 as the squadron relocated to NAS Lemoore in California.
The U.S. Air Force announced that the KC-46 flying with a modified boom has managed to refuel a C-17 in mid-air and the previously observe axial loading issues were not present this time.
