VMFA-211 re-designation ceremony

While all eyes are focused on the F-35s currently in U.K., halfway across the world, VMFA-211 became the first AV-8B unit to transition to the F-35B at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma on Jun. 30.

Taiwan fishing boat was hit by this morning’s HF-3 anti-ship missile, captain killed

It has emerged that a Hsiung Feng 3 supersonic anti-ship missile fired accidentally by a Republic of China Navy patrol boat this morning had actually locked-on to a fishing boat and impact the vessel. The captain of the boat – Hsiang Li Sheng – was killed and three others wounded.
