Slovakia rejects Swedish offer to lease Gripen fighters
Slovakia’s new government has rejected an offer from Sweden for the lease of six JAS 39Cs and two JAS 39Ds. Defense Minister criticized the deal which he said the asking price was unacceptable.

North Korean video shows Mi-2 firing ATGM
A rare footage showing a North Korean Mi-2 helicopter firing an anti-tank guide missiles has emerged recently. It was inside a video showcasing various types of weapons in North Korea as well as tours and visits by Kim Jong Un.
Thailand is also keen on Kawasaki P-1
A piece by Nikkei Asian Review says Thailand is keen on getting the Kawasaki P-1 maritime patrol plane. Earlier it was reported that Bangkok is taking a close look at the ShinMaywa US-2 amphibious aircraft for fire fighting duties.

Obama says he’s gonna miss Air Force One
